Avui us portem una entrada molt especial! Dos alumnes i una professora ens expliquen la seva experiència durant la visita el passat mes de gener a l'escola de Yew Chung a Hong Kong. Com sabeu, cada mes de maig alguns alumnes d'aquesta escola xinesa venen a passar uns dies a l'escola amb els nostres alumnes de 1r d'ESO. Us ensenyem també unes quantes fotos del viatge.

We are Inés and David, students of 1st
ESO. We have been on a trip to Hong Kong for a fortnight. It was from 23rd
January to 3rd February. We went there with our teacher Carmen
Santiago. We had been invited by Yew Chung International School of Hong Kong to
visit the school and the city.
Both of us were hosted by two very nice families. Inés stayed at
Lina’s house and David at Tsz Yau’s house. Our host families were very kind to
us and they made us feel at home. Carmen stayed at the residence YWCA near the school. Our contact in Hong Kong was Mr. Edward
Hepting who is the manager of World Classroom of Yew Chung International School.
With Mr. Hepting, we visited Chinese
temples, The Big Budha, different islands, Disneyland Hong Kong, Ocean Park and
many more areas of Honk Kong. In addition, we spent three days at the school
sharing lessons with our buddies and their classmates. Everybody was great so
we did not feel strange students at their school but totally integrated into
their routine.
The aim of this trip was to strengthen ties of friendship with the students of the 8th year who are coming to Barcelona to visit us in May and with Yew Chung school. This aim was fulfilled successfully. We enjoyed our host families, the school, the city, our guide …. We are in contact with our buddies by skype or whatsapp and we are looking forward to their visit in May. We would like to fly to Hong Kong again!!
